California Girls' Trip

We got to go to California in October with the {adult} girls in the Riggs family, plus a few babies! Alma was so nice to let us all stay at her house.

So funny to watch Auburn and Patsy watching youtube together!

Abby loved being outside a lot during our trip!

Morning jog with most of my sisters, plus Krista. The sisters' final destination was Citi Donut. Surprise surprise!

It was so fun to have Danielle with us for the first time!

Abby and I didn't join the others on the beach but these pictures are too good not to post! This is Sheri pushing Grandma out to "lay out" with some of the other girls!

Grandma treated us all to a nice Mexican dinner.

Auburn "took us to the candy shop"!

We started a new tradition of a "favorite things" gift exchange. It was fun to see what everyone's favorite things are.

The 2013 group. We were missing several cousins and a few aunts.

Me, Suz, and Auburn shared a bed. I was glad to be back in my own bed after this trip!

It looks like Davis was excited for the slumber party - Abby, not so much!

One thing I love about vacationing with my family is that someone else can style my hair. Suzanne is usually the one that gets to do it!

OC Swap Meet

We picked up some cute glasses for Abby...

...and Davis too!

This was the view from the 3rd row in the car...

...and this was Abby & Davis's view from the second row. These girls were taking pictures and texting them to me in the front seat!

Beach babies!!

Could Davis's smile be any bigger?!!

We of course took a trip to Balboa for some treats one night :)

It was fun to have these sweet babies with us this year. They were both happy for the most part and loved to have all their aunts and grandma around all day, every day!

September 2013

We started off the month with Abby looking cute for church, in her dress from Grandpa Price...

Abby loved her private concert with dad!

Labor day swimming at Grandma & Poppy's house...

Russ and Sophie on their way to a daddy-daughter activity. They were both dressed in formal clothes since Sophie had told Russ "you can wear a tuxedo if you want"... but right before they left, we noticed that the invitation said it was a carnival themed activity!

Abby & Davis, both around 4 months old.

Kade left on his mission September 25. A few weeks before he left, we took him and a few friends to the lake! He was an awesome surfer :)

Abby got a new high chair!

I realized at 4 months old that Abby actually does look like Noah did as a baby... here are some comparison collages...

Abby got her immunizations and well - check at 4.5 months old. Her stats were 14 pounds even and 25 3/4 ". That's 45% for weight and 80% for height.

Abby's first time eating rice cereal. She loved eating from a spoon like the rest of us!

Noah has become a bookworm lately. I have found him asleep in his room with a book several times. He finished reading Percy Jackson: The lightning Thief, and is almost finished now with the next book in the series: Sea of Monsters.

Sweet cuddles :)

Abby likes to swing while we wait at the park for Noah's football practice to be over.

Sweet siblings leaning on each other to watch t.v.

This is Abby sleeping on Grandma's shoulder at the women's broadcast. It was the cutest sight!

August 2013

On August 3, I celebrated these 2 loves in my life. Abby was 3 months old, and it was the 4-year anniversary of the day Russ and I met.

To celebrate the last day of Summer, Noah, Ellie and I enjoyed some Bahama Bucks.

That same day, we had lunch at the mall then got Abby's ears pierced!

August 7: first day of school for Noah!

I don't think there's ever been a happier, cuter baby girl...

We took a trip to the lake one Saturday with Suzanne and Ellie. Abby got to experience it for the first time too!

Abby confused about seeing mom in the mirror AND behind her...

MATCHING!!

3.5 months old and SO MUCH FUN!

Abby likes to show off her "tricks" by mimicking mom when she blows bubbles. It's so cute, she does it when she gets excited and knows that we will all tell her how cute and funny she is!

Ellie is such a great helper with Abby. It was so cute to have them match one day when Ellie spent the night with us.

Noah is also a great helper with Abby, just not at the time this picture was taken!!!

Propped up in the bassinet to watch tv. Abby loves tv!

Davis & Abby

Abby didn't know whether she should smile or frown when I got her out of her crib ... this was the first morning after she started sleeping in her room. She did great!

Too little still for the jumper...

We had our "first annual" Sherwood family talent show. Everyone participated and it was the funnest night! I wish I had taken pictures of everyone's acts but here are just a few...

The Gibbons performed a number from "Saturday's Warrior"

The Cummards performed "Tight Pants"

Our family performed "I Lobster" with Russ on the guitar...

... and Kaitlyn also performed some Tayler Swift songs on her guitar!

Lucy did some dancing of course :)

Davis & Abby enjoyed the show!

Sleeping twins!

Abby is so good at locking her knees so she can perform her "cheerleading" tricks with dad.

My cutest Arizona girl!

Abby with her new baby doll the night she got it. (I have a bad habit of bringing her home a treat from the store every week.)

We took a day trip to Prescott to watch a crossfit competition that was put on to raise funds and benefit the families of the Yarnell fire hot shots. It was neat to see the roadside memorial and to see the people who came together to support a great cause. Russ - the crossfitter of the family - especially loved it because he got to see "celebrities of the crossfit world".

Abby was a good girl on our little trip. She put herself to sleep in her stroller when she got tired. She loves her silky blankets next to her face!
