February 2015

This post will not include the special memories of Riggs, his passing, and his funeral - as I would like to make that a separate post... so here are the other things that happened during the month of February!

Abby acting older than she really is. She helps herself to Russ's ipad then sets up a little work station with snacks and all!

She gets more attached to her blankies every day!

Abby LOVES Noah. She is always excited for him to get home from school and then sad when he leaves to hang out with friends. If he's hanging out outside, she wants to be with him. I captured that pretty well with these pictures of her just watching him work.

Noah saved his money for a LONG time and finally had enough to purchase his own ipod touch! What a cool moment for this awesome 10-year-old!

We went on a Sunday night bike ride and Noah really wanted to be the one to pull Abby in the bike trailer. He loved it and so did she. At the time, the weather was perfect and our family was together on a perfect Sunday night. I thought about how lucky I was to have these two cute kids. Now in hindsight, I look at this picture and think about what was going on with Riggs and we didn't even know he was sick (he died just hours later). This picture documents one of the last moments that life seemed too good to be true!

Noah got to attend a field trip with his ELP class and other 4th graders from Madison Elementary. They went to Usery Pass and Russ went as a chaperone. They had a good time!

This is Abby zonked out... watching the "baby channel" I'm sure!

She seriously thinks she rules the house.

She LOVES wagon rides... especially when Dad is involved.

This is Noah with his 4th grade class and teacher Mrs. Strunk :)

The kids got to sleep in bed with me when Russ went out of town. Nobody except Abby was comfortable that night!

This princess loves her high heels. She makes sure to hold them on her feet even when it's not comfortable to flex your feet in order to hold them on.

Abbers & Davers... kissing cousins :)

This is our little neighborhood and ward friend, Boston... taking such good care of Abby at the school playground. She loves to swing!

Mommy & Abby got up really early (at least early for Abby) to cheer Suzanne on... she ran a 1/2 marathon! We made some posters and had fun being spectators instead of athletes!

Noah finished off his season of playing WHAM basketball... he did SO awesome in that last game!
